Description
Embolize the thumb in the resting position by opening the commissure between the index finger and the thumb. Bone alignment limits the forces exerted on the trapezius-metacarpal joint and relieves pain.
During the night and in all situations where you do not use your hand, regularly wearing the EPITACT resting orthosis helps relieve joint pain at the base of the thumb and helps limit the evolution of rhizoarthrosis.
Thanks to the anatomical reinforcements that allow them to adapt perfectly to the morphology of the hand, the rigid resting orthosis offers optimal comfort. Lightweight and ultra-thin, it feels like you're not wearing it.
Maintenance
Hand wash at 30°C with non-aggressive soap, without detergents or varechin. Rinse well. Dry with pressure. Do not allow to dry near direct heat sources (radiator, sun rays). Do not use stain removers.

Warnings
In case of severe oedema - supervise the hand during use. Remove the device if it is too tight and obstructs circulation. If in doubt ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not apply creams or ointments before wearing the orthosis.
Do not use near flames or glowing bodies.
Do not use on skin lesions.
