Description
The Finger Pulse Oximeter is a non-invasive device designed for the instantaneous control of arterial haemoglobin saturation (SpO2) and heart rate of adults and children in home and hospital settings (including clinical use in internal/surgical therapy, anaesthesia and intensive care, etc.).
It is not intended for continuous monitoring.
it is compact, practical to use and transport and with low energy consumption. The two AAA batteries supplied can be used continuously for 24 hours.
Automatic shutdown when not receiving signal within 5 seconds.

It is sufficient for the patient to insert the fingertip into the photoelectric sensor of the device and the value of Hemoglobin Saturation appears immediately on the screen.

Note - The optical sensor is a light-emitting component that influences other medical devices by applying the same range of wavelengths.

How to use
Insert the two batteries in the correct direction and then reposition the cover. Open the sensor. Insert the patient's finger into the rubber-coated sensor (make sure the finger is in the correct position), then let the sensor close on the finger. Press the power button on the front panel. Do not move your finger and keep the patient at rest during the measurement. In addition, the patient is advised not to move. The measurement results are displayed directly on the display.

In the state of starting the recorder, press the button and the device is reset to zero.
The nails and the luminescent tube must remain on the same side.

Cleaning and Maintenance - Replace the batteries when the low battery indicator starts to flash.
Clean the surface of the device before use. Rub with alcohol for medical use first and then air dry or wipe dry.
Use alcohol for medical use to disinfect the product after use, prevents contamination for subsequent use.
If you do not use the Pulse Oximeter for a long time, remove the batteries.
The device must be calibrated on a regular basis (or in accordance with the hospital calibration program).
Do not sterilize the appliance with high pressure.

Warnings
The finger must be properly positioned, otherwise this may result in inaccurate measurements.
The SpO2 sensor and the photoelectric receiving tube must be arranged such that the patient's arteriole is in a position between the two.
The SpO2 sensor should not be used at a point or on a limb tied with a band for the measurement of blood pressure or blood pressure or during an intravenous injection.
Make sure that the optical path is free of optical obstacles, such as rubberized fabric.
Excessive ambient light may affect the measurement result. This includes fluorescent lamp, double red lights, infrared radiator, direct sunlight, etc.
Strenuous patient action or extreme electrosurgical interference can also affect accuracy.
The patient under examination may not use nail polishes or other cosmetics.
Do not immerse the appliance in any type of liquid.
It is recommended to keep the device in a dry environment. Humidity could shorten the life cycle of the device or even damage it.
Danger of explosion - do not use the Pulse Monitor in environments with flammable gases such as some flammable anaesthetic agents.
DO NOT use the heart rate monitor while the patient is undergoing an MRI or CT scan. Please check the packaging before use to make sure the device and its accessories are fully compliant with the packing list, otherwise the device may operate abnormally.
Please do not measure this device with paper functional tests for related device information.
Keep the Pulse Meter away from dust, vibrations, corrosive substances, explosive materials, high temperatures and humidity.
If the heart rate monitor becomes wet, please stop using it.
When transported from a cold environment to a hot or humid environment, do not use it immediately.
DO NOT press the front panel keys with sharp materials.
Disinfection of the Pulse Oximeter with steam at high temperatures or pressure is not allowed. Do not immerse the Pulse Oximeter in liquids. When cleaning, wipe the surface with a soft cloth soaked in alcohol for medical use. Do not spray liquids directly onto the device. When cleaning the device with water, the temperature should be below 60°C.
Because fingers that are too thin or too cold could affect the patient's normal SpO2 and heart rate measurement, place thicker fingers, such as the thumb and middle finger, deep enough into the device.
Do not use the device on children or infants. The device is suitable for children over the age of four and adults (weight must be between 15 and 110 kg).
The device may not work for all patients. If you are unable to achieve stable measurements, discontinue use.
The data refresh period is less than 5 seconds - this duration is variable according to the different individual heart rates.
If any abnormality appears on the screen during the test procedure, remove the finger and reinsert it to restore normal use.
The normal life cycle of the device is three years from the first power on.
The support lanyard connected to the product is made of hypoallergenic material; in case a particular group is allergic to the support lanyard, stop using it. Also, pay attention to the use of the support cord, do not hang it around the neck to avoid injury to the patient.
The device is not equipped with a low voltage alarm function, it only indicates the battery charge level. Please change the battery when the power level is depleted.
The device is not equipped with an alarm function for particularly low parameters. Do not use the device in situations where alarms are required.
The batteries must be removed if the device is stored for more than a month, otherwise they may leak liquid.
A flexible circuit connects the two parts of the device. Do not turn or pull the connection.
